The brat tamer’s main skill is interpretation. They read the brat’s misbehaviour as “invite me to escalate” rather than as an insult. The other key trait is calm; the cooler the tamer stays, the more fully the brat’s provocations get absorbed and answered. Brat and tamer is one of the classic community pairings because both sides enjoy the back-and-forth of wit and will. A typical tamer sets up tiered consequences, so the brat always knows provocation has a price and keeps paying it anyway.
