One-line definition
A little is an adult who takes on a younger headspace (little space) in ageplay, sometimes as a submissive, sometimes not.
Full definition
The little’s “age” is a subjective headspace chosen by an adult in roleplay. It says nothing about anyone’s real age, and nothing involving minors belongs anywhere near this term: all CGl and ageplay content on this archive concerns consenting adults only.
Little space can be a paired dynamic, with a little under a Caregiver’s structure and rituals, or it can be entirely solo: many littles switch into the headspace on their own as a form of emotional rest, with toys, cartoons, and softness and no Caregiver required. Healthy practice treats entering and leaving little space as deliberate, with rituals that make the switch controllable.
Boundaries with related terms
- vs. ABDL. ABDL centres diapers and infant items; little is broader, covering the headspace and care dynamic with or without any of that.
- vs. submissive. Submission is about obedience, while little space is about age register. A little is not necessarily a sub.
- vs. therapeutic age regression. In clinical contexts, age regression is an involuntary trauma response. A little’s headspace is a conscious, chosen role.
Common misconceptions
”Littles are always women.”
Little space has no gender. Babyboys and non-binary littles are everywhere.
”Once in little space, they can’t get out.”
Healthy little space has clear entry and exit rituals. It is controllable and reversible.
