PRICK belongs to the same family of negotiation-and-risk language as SSC and RACK. Its emphasis is the first word: every participant carries the duty to find out what they are getting into, to understand where the risks live, and to own their decisions, rather than outsourcing risk judgement to the other person.
Boundaries with related frameworks
- vs. SSC. SSC (Safe, Sane, Consensual) is the earliest widely-taught baseline.
- vs. RACK. RACK concedes that risk never reaches zero and reframes the question as risk awareness. PRICK builds on RACK and moves personal responsibility to the front.
