One-line definition
Primal is the kink style or identity that runs on instinct: chase, growl, bite, and wordless interaction.
Full definition
Primal play strips the scene of protocol and language and lets the animal layer drive: chase and capture, struggle and pin, growls and bites in place of commands and titles. Players often identify as predator or prey, a different axis from Dom and sub, since a primal scene’s power settles through the body rather than through rank. The wildness is the aesthetic, and the negotiation underneath it is as deliberate as anywhere else; stop signals have to survive a wordless scene.
