The puppy register is the energetic, social one: fetch and wrestle, loyalty and praise, hood and tail gear, handlers who train and care. Puppy culture is also kink’s most visibly communal animal register, with packs, moshes (group play events), and a strong presence in queer kink spaces. Pup headspace, like little space, is its own draw: simple, immediate, wordless rest from being a person.
